Bio:
Michael is the fourth owner of Hub+Weber, a firm founded in 1973. As principal, he leads a small, focused team of design professionals dedicated to serving a diverse client base across a wide range of project types. Michael joined H+W in June of 2021. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Classical Civilization from Loyola University Chicago, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois Chicago.
Before joining the team, Michael worked at large and medium sized firms in Chicago and Cincinnati, working on projects that included master plans and skyscrapers on several continents, mixed use developments across the United States, and small art installations. He has extensive Construction Phase Service experience, including a 26-story mixed use tower with a five level parking podium in Minneapolis, a 12-story hotel in Nashville, and a secondary school expansion in Wilmington, Ohio.
Michael is originally from Northern Kentucky, where he lives today with his wife and three young children. When he is not coaching or attending a variety of youth sports and activities, Michael enjoys reading, playing golf, traveling, and taking care of his house plants.
